Mr. Paul specializes in private and small group guitar, bass, ukulele and beginning piano lessons. Special Topics lessons are also available and can include synthesizers/electronic music production, songwriting/arranging and audio recording. Lessons with Mr. Paul the Music Teacher are held weekly at the same time each week.
Standard 30-minute Private Lesson: For most students, a weekly 30-minute private lesson is the perfect fit. It allows enough time for most beginning and intermediate students to share their progress, receive coaching and instruction, play music with their teacher and create a practice plan for the upcoming week.
Extended 45-minute Private Lesson: For some intermediate and advanced students as well as for multi-instrument or multi-disciplinary students, an extended 45-minute private lesson each week is ideal. The additional time allows for deeper exploration of theory, technique and performance skills as well as more project-based learning.
60-minute Small Group or Multi-disciplinary Lesson: A full hour can allow time for small groups to learn together whether they be “family bands” or groups of friends. Sixty minutes can also allow a single student time to explore two different instruments or two distinct musical curricula such as guitar performance and music composition.
*15-minute Mini-Lessons are available for very young musicians on a student by student basis.
